What it is
Graffiti removal gets spray paint, marker, and paint pen off walls, fences, dumpsters, signs, and sidewalks. Speed matters. Tagged surfaces that stay tagged attract more, while surfaces that are cleaned quickly tend to be left alone. We offer fast-response visits for commercial clients and one-time removals for homeowners and HOAs.
The method depends on the surface and the paint. Brick and block are porous, so paint soaks in. Smooth metal and sealed surfaces release paint more easily. Painted walls are the trickiest, because the remover that lifts the graffiti can also lift the paint underneath. In those cases we recommend a color-matched paint-out instead.
Equipment and method
We start with a test spot to see how the paint and the surface react. For most masonry, we apply a graffiti remover gel, let it break down the paint, and rinse with hot water at controlled pressure. Ghosting, the faint shadow left behind, gets a second treatment. On metal and glass we use solvents and hand tools that will not scratch.
After removal, we can apply a sacrificial or permanent anti-graffiti coating. The next time a tag goes up, it comes off with hot water alone, which makes the follow-up visit faster and cheaper.

The Colorado angle
Our dry air works for us and against us. Paint dries fast, so it bonds quickly to porous brick and block, which is why fast removal matters so much here. On the other hand, low humidity helps removers work and coatings cure quickly, so treated walls are back in service sooner. Cold weather slows chemistry down, so winter removals sometimes need heated water and a little more dwell time. We plan for it.
Quick answers
How fast can you get here?
For commercial clients on a service plan, we aim for removal within 48 hours. One-time jobs are scheduled as soon as we have an opening.
Will removal damage my brick?
No. We test first and use removers and pressure suited to the surface. Hot water does more than extra pressure does.
What is an anti-graffiti coating?
It is a clear protective layer. Future paint sits on the coating instead of soaking into the wall, so it washes off with hot water.
